Symptoms disappear quickly

A wonderful product! For my child with a cold, I rub the limbs and massage the tummy with oil in clockwise circles. All symptoms disappear the next day. Compresses with oil also effectively treat coughing. It has even helped heal chapped lips in my child.

Effective compresses
12 people found this helpful
Excellent for compresses! Our paediatrician recommended using castor oil for colds and coughs. To make them, soak two small cloths in oil, apply to the child's chest and back, then wrap with cling film for up to 3 hours. After wrapping, massage the stomach clockwise for around 33 circles, rub their feet, and put on warm socks. This method has worked wonders; I have used these compresses three times in a row to help my child with a deep cough without medication. Previously, we relied on nebulisers and treatments that often led to bronchitis. I HIGHLY recommend this method!

Good for hair care
I use this oil for my hair growth routine and it works well. Although it may not be suitable for oily hair, I appreciate its slight moisturising quality. There’s no noticeable aroma, which I like, and its thickness means a little goes a long way—ideal for long-term use. It also dries out any pimples by the next day, making it a lifesaver for my sensitive skin.

Effective for milia
A good quality oil that promotes eyebrow and eyelash growth, strengthens nails, and improves dry skin. I bought it for my 4-year-old to treat a milia under the eye, and it actually worked!

Mild cold relief

I love this castor oil! It has a light scent and absorbs quickly. I use it for scrapes and dry skin, and when my daughter shows signs of a common cold, it speeds recovery, resulting in only a mild runny nose for two days. It’s my go-to for first aid and healing.

Effective cough treatment
2 people found this helpful
An excellent remedy for colds! I massage my children's hands and feet with this oil when they cough, and it helps immensely. The most effective treatment is a compress on the chest, which helps with cough. Curiously, it also aids with abdominal massage for stool issues. Remember to use it for no more than three consecutive days, followed by a break. The oil is economical and has no unpleasant smell.
